We are dedicated to reforestation in the Amazon region and to creating Tiny Forests in South American cities. Our unique approach integrates nature restoration with human healing through retreats in Putumayo, Colombia.
Our focus
At Pachamama Revive, our primary focus is on reforesting urban areas through the creation of Tiny Forests and restoring deforested regions. We uniquely combine the healing of Mother Earth with the healing of individuals, because we know that there is a direct connection between trauma and the destruction of the planet.
Our mission extends beyond effective nature conservation, encompassing the support of local biodiversity and the fostering of sustainable lifestyles. By taking these steps, we aim to cultivate a deeper connection and balance between humanity and Planet Earth.
Our first location will be in the ecologically sensitive region of Putumayo, situated in the southern part of Colombia, in the foothills of the Andes and at the beginning of the Amazon basin.
We're dedicated to sharing knowledge and building a community that cares about the environment. Our goal is to spread practical solutions for a better world.
Our projects
Reforestation together with native communities
In response to environmental crises, our focus is on reforesting cleared areas to aid soil regeneration, purify water and air, promote biodiversity, and tackle climate change.
Collaborating closely with Amazon communities, we implement reforestation projects together.
Tiny Forests in South American cities
The concept of Tiny Forests aims to reintroduce nature into urban environments, providing residents with opportunities to connect, learn, and become more aware of natural processes.
Urban forests offer significant advantages for city climates, enhancing air quality and effectively absorbing pollution. And these benefits are just the beginning...
Retreat Centre
The retreat centre is intended to be a place to arrive, a place where we can come to rest. We believe that the more people who are healed and liberated from their burdens, the more they have the capacity to bring benefits to the planet. At Pachamama Revive, we care for both the earth and the people living on it. We are therefore planning courses such as yoga, Qi Gong, meditation and various practices such as Ayurveda, chakra healing, the use of incense, Temazcal and working with local medicinal plants.
Eco-Village construction
Houses made from organic materials will be built on the available land. We are focussing on local materials such as bamboo, clay, hemp, and others. However, the areas should also offer space to experiment with alternative materials such as mushrooms, algae and recycled materials. The aim is to build natural villages that also store CO2 and therefore contribute towards climate protection.
Promoting biodiversity
The aim is to protect the local flora and fauna and create habitats. Depending on the size of the area, native plant species will initially be reintroduced. This creates a habitat for bees, butterflies, spiders and many more creatures. Smaller species of amphibians, reptiles and mammals will follow.
Research and education centre
The site is intended to provide opportunities for research in the fields of ecology, environment and sustainability in cooperation with universities and private institutions. As well, there will be courses about the local flora and fauna, sustainable resource utilisation, cultivation methods and much more for all ages.
